She qualified as a physiotherapist in 1988, at Sapienza University in Rome.
She has been working as a clinical physiotherapist at Centro Paraplegici Ostia Hospital (1991-2002), developing a special interest and competence in spinal cord injuries and neuro-rehab.
While working, completed a post-graduate Diploma in Education in 1998, at Sapienza University.
In 2002 she took up an academic position at Tor Vergata University (Rome) in charge of managing BSc Degree in Physiotherapy.
She is a lecturer since 2002, both at BSc in Physiotherapy (Tor Vergata University) and in BSc in Nursing (Sapienza University).
She is currently working as the Chief of Home Rehabilitation Service Physiotherapists, and as an associate in Clinical Risk Management, in ASL Roma 3.
She has been speaker at many national and international congresses, and held many classes for physios and other health professionals.
Her experience as a board member covers the health, education and regulation sectors.
