Rome, 19/02/2020 – A very profitable meeting between Gianni Profita, Rector of UniCamillus – International Medical University of Rome – and Moez Sinaoui, Ambassador of Tunisia, ended this morning in Rome, at the Embassy of Tunisia.
Through today’s meeting, an important cultural exchange and future didactic activities have started highlighting the University’s mission: internationalization and humanitarian mission.
His Excellency was in fact fascinated by the values that UniCamillus constantly transmits to all his students thanks to a high quality teaching staff. A great appreciation was also expressed for the prestige of the Italian medicine that University is able to develop by the agreement stipulated with the best Italian healthcare facilities (San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital, San Camillo-Forlanini, Sant’Eugenio, Sandro Pertini, CTO Andrea Alesini, Ospedale dei Castelli) in which even the non-EU students, to whom scholarships are made available by the University in the form of a “loan of honor”, can carry out the required internship from the study plan of the Master of Science in Medicine and Surgery and the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Professions.
At the end of the morning, the Rector underlined his interest in maintaining constant collaboration with the universities of Tunisia where he was invited by the Ambassador to maintain solid relations with the Mediterranean area.
