UniCamillus has decided to extend the registration deadline for the 1st level Online Master in Deglutology and Related Disorders to July 27.
A choice that aims to meet everyone’s needs, in a still not easy moment due to Coronavirus, in order to make the registration procedures easier.
In addition to the extension of the registration deadline, the University has adopted measures necessary to support future learners in such a delicate period also from an economic point of view.
In fact, in consideration of the health emergency due to Covid-19, UniCamillus has decided to extend a cost reduction to all students who registered for the Master.
The University continues to focus on the needs of students and their ambition to broaden their medical-scientific knowledge in increasingly widespread and requested topics, such as problems related to deglutition.
The alteration in deglutition nowadays affect an increasingly important part of the population. In particular, the difficulty in swallowing solid and semi-liquid foods affects about one in 5 people in Italy, but 90% of patients do not talk to their doctor, thus underestimating a disorder that could lead to more serious diseases.
The Online Master in Deglutology and Related Disorders of UniCamillus deepens the field of dysphagia taking into consideration the different causes closely related to the pathology (gastroesophageal, post-surgical, neurogenic) and the different ages in which it can arise (childhooh, adulthood, old age)
The professional figure will be able, specifically, to plan recovery programs shared with a multidisciplinary team taking into account the individuality of the patient.
