He graduated in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in computer science at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (1991).
After graduation, he obtained a specialization diploma in “Health Physics” at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (1997) and a specialization diploma in “Operations Research and Decision- making Strategies” at the University of Rome. “La Sapienza” (2002).
He attended 3 post-graduate annual specialization courses at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”: “Methods for the analysis of biomedical signals and images” (AY 1994/95), “Electromagnetic compatibility” (AY 1998/99), “Safety and risk prevention in the workplace” (AA 2000/2001).
Since 2015 he has been qualified as 3rd degree Qualified Expert (for physical surveillance in the field of ionizing radiation).
From July 1991 to March 1998 he worked as an IT specialist at FINSIEL S.p.A.
Since 1998 he is a INAIL (National Institute Insurance against Job Accidents) researcher, carrying out activities in the statistical and IT fields.
Responsible for/collaborator in over 30 researches of INAIL activity plans.
He has taught in over 50 courses concerning the legislation on prevention and health at work and the use of IT-statistical tools applied to occupational medicine and the prevention and protection of accidents at work.
Since 2007 he is teaching computer science, statistics and biophysics in numerous degree and master courses of the health professions at the “La Sapienza”, “Tor Vergata” and “Cattolica” Universities.
He has produced several publications in the field of workers’ health and safety.
