V-Day – 27 December 2020, five collaborators of the Spallanzani Institute will be the first in Italy to be vaccinated against Coronavirus with the Pfizer preparation.
Among these, Professor Maria Rosaria Capobianchi, Professor of UniCamillus who, with her team, first isolated the virus in Italy. Together with our Professor, Alessandra Vergori (infectious doctor), Alessandra D’Abramo (infectious disease doctor), Omar Altobelli (social health worker – OSS) and Claudia Alivernini (nurse) will be vaccinated.
It is interesting to recall the Prolusion “A new science is born: one health … one world” that the Prof. Maria Rosaria Capobianchi held in recent days for the Inauguration of the Academic Year of UniCamillus (www.unicamillus.org/it / inauguration).
Gianni Profita, rector of UniCamillus, expresses sincere pride, also on behalf of the whole Academic Community, for the work and commitment that Professor Capobianchi continues to testify in this very difficult battle against the Coronavirus, setting the example, against every fear, with a concrete gesture for the fight against Covid-19.
