Professor Salvatore Maria Corsello is full professor of Endocrinology.
He graduated summa cum laude in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of Rome in 1978.
He is a specialist in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine.
He was hired in 1979, and since then has been working continuously in the endocrinology Department of the “Agostino Gemelli” University Hospital – Catholic University of Rome.
Having obtained the eligibility in the First Tier for the scientific-disciplinary sector MED / 13, he is currently full professor in Unicamillus, with clinical activity at the Gemelli Polyclinic.
He is a lecturer in various degrees and specialization courses at the Catholic University.
Winner of the NATO-CNR Advanced Fellowships, he completed clinical and research activities as Honorary Clinical Assistant in the Department of Endocrinology of St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, University of London throughout 1987.
He completed a short internship at the Endocrinology Division of the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, Boston (MA) in 2008.
Endocrinologist consultant in the family clinics of the Catholic University of Rome and Naples. Consultant in Endocrinology to the Military Polyclinic of Rome. Member, of the Italian Society of Endocrinology, of the Associazione Medici Endocrinologi and of the Endocrine Society.
He is the author of over 140 publications indexed on PubMed and over 300 abstracts presented at national and international conferences.
He is also the author of numerous chapters of books on Endocrinology and Endocrine Surgery both in English and Italian language.
