Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedicine and Prevention, University of Rome Tor Vergata.

She graduated in Biological Science and spent part of her PhD and Post-doc career abroad at the Vienna Biocenter, University of Vienna (Austria).

Returned to Italy, she carried on her research studies at the IRCCS Fondazione Santa Lucia and University of Rome Tor Vergata. Her research is mainly focused at understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms that control gene expression and RNA processing during physiological and pathological processes, including several types of tumors, as prostate and bladder cancer. Her research was funded by the Ministry of Health.
