Many colleagues are invited to fill the role of Health Director in the dental field and accept this position unaware, or with little knowledge, about the responsibility that is inherent in the role itself.
The conferment of tasks and the supervision of the operators’ activities, in line with the qualifications held by them, require knowledge of national and regional regulations, as well as jurisprudential notes and ethical rules to be respected and enforced. The Master aims to train and / or consolidate the knowledge necessary to take on the role of Health Director in the dental field with professionalism and awareness, also learning to recognize and deal with critical issues, prevent and deal with possible disputes and knowingly provide for the choice of the best insurance policy for the needs of the structure, for themselves and for the collaborators.
The Partner of the CPD Course program is the ISTITUTO STOMATOLOGICO TOSCANO
The CPD Course program is delivered via distance learning (FAD), using both static and dynamic educational materials (slides and video lectures), making it accessible from any location.
Language: Italian
Credits: 60 University Credits (C.F.U.).
Duration:
The CPD Course program has a minimum duration of 12 months (with the educational component delivered through Distance Learning – FAD), allowing for the completion of the 6 didactic modules and their respective 6 assessment tests, plus the final evaluation test. The CPD Course program must, however, be completed by the student within 24 months from enrollment; after this period, the student’s access to the platform will be discontinued. The Master’s program requires a total of 1,500 hours, structured as follows:
At the end of the educational program, the student must complete a Master’s thesis, to be defended at the Istituto Stomatologico Toscano in Lido di Camaiore, on dates scheduled quarterly.
Attendance:
Attendance of the entire educational program is mandatory: the video lectures must be fully watched, with the ability to interact with the e-learning platform from any location at any time, 7 days a week, 24/7. Each FAD (module) session will have a scheduled duration of 60 days, after which, upon passing the multiple-choice test to verify learning, the student can access the next module. Passing the intermediate tests is a prerequisite for continuing with the master’s program. The study of the consultable material (slides) and the indicated further readings (bibliography for further study) is essential for passing the intermediate tests and the final test.
