Biography

She graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Naples “Federico II” and obtained the Residency in Microbiology and Virology from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. For several years, she has been a research fellow at the Chair of Virology at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.

Her primary areas of expertise include virology, with an emphasis on the development of innovative molecular methodologies, employed in the diagnostic/therapeutic field.

The research activity focuses mainly in the virology field, especially on the mechanisms of drug resistance for HCV, HBV and HIV viruses.

She authored several articles published on international journals and took part in numerous national and international conferences.
