She received her M.D. degree with honors at Tor Vergata University of Rome in 2011. In 2019, in the same University, she received the Specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases and in 2020 she obtained the PhD.

She currently works in the Diabetes Center “Concordia” A.C.I.S.M.O.M in Rome, where she is the Health Director.  

Since 2019 she is Head of Endocrinology and Diabetology at the Madonna della Fiducia Clinic in Rome.

Her research activity mainly concerns diabetes and diabetic foot.

She gave lectures at several national and international meetings. She authored several publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals and contributed book chapters.

Since 2018 she is editor of the Diabetic foot section for the Journal Club of the Italian Diabetes Society (SID); she is member of the Working Group on the Diabetic Neuropathy.

Since 2021 she is a member of the Diabetes Board for the Italian Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AME).
