Prof. Strano is Consultant Midwife with supervisional assigment on the “Birth Spot” center at Asl Roma 2 – 00159 Rome; she is also Midwife Co-ordinator on Delivery Suite & Maternity Ward at Sandro Pertini General Hospital, Rome. In 2008 she obtained her Master’s Degree in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” 

From 2002 she is lecturer at the Sapienza University of Rome, University “Tor Vergata”, University “Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” and at University “ Unicamillus”.

She participated at 102 refresher/revision courses, instructor in corporate BLSD and PBLSD courses. and from 2019 she is Coordinator in the Region of the professional group on the document: low-risk labor and delivery.
