She graduated in Medicine and Surgery at “Sapienza University of Rome” where she specialized in Nuclear Medicine “cum laude”.
Her research focuses on molecular theragnostics in oncology, in particular on the use of nanoparticles radiolabeled with gamma-camera and PET radiopharmaceuticals, and on the application of theragnostics in precision photothermal therapy.
Actively involved in research on alpha-emitter therapy for patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. Her studies also deal with receptor radioisotopes for cardiological and neurological diseases such as heart failure, Parkinson’s disease and atypical Parkinsonisms.
