Born in Campobasso, Dr. Giulia Cocozza began her academic journey with a
Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where she graduated with distinction.
Subsequently, she obtained her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from the Università degli Studi dell’Aquila, graduating with top honors.
Her interest in the professional growth of physiotherapists began as a student with assiduous and interested participation in the events promoted by the professional association and grew becoming an active part of it in 2017, being elected to the AIFI Molise Board of Directors in the role of “Legal Office”.
In 2018, she was elected at a national level to cover the RAMR role in the Molise region with the ultimate aim of validating the veracity of professional titles preparatory to enrolment in the relevant register.
Professionally, Giulia has served in various esteemed institutions like Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli and GRUPPO ITALCLINICHE SRL. Her specialization in vascular diagnostics and rehabilitation became evident during her tenure at ASL Roma 6 – Presidio Ospedaliero Marino. Currently employed at Asl Roma 2, CTO Hospital – Andrea Alesini Orthopaedic Trauma Center.
Furthermore, her commitment to service shone through her voluntary work for children affected by lymphedema, championed through her association with Lymphido.
Academia also beckoned Giulia. She has been an active contributor to the teaching community, offering lectures at institutions such as Università Sapienza di Roma and Università Degli Studi del Molise. Currently in Teacher Training Level 1 in Manual Lymphatic Drainage according to the Vodder method authorised by the Dr. Vodder Academy International, Walchsee/Austria.
Giulia brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and commitment to her new role at Unicamillus University. As she embarks on this new chapter, students and colleagues alike can look forward to benefiting from her expertise and dedication to the field of physiotherapy.
