Professor Giorgetti obtained a Degree in Medicine at the University of Rome, “La Sapienza”. He is a specialist of Surgical Oncology, Internal Medicine, Allergology and Clinical Immunology, Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy.
Since 1990, he is a Medical Director at S. Eugenio Hospital in Rome.
Since 1990, at the Food Pathology Clinic, he has served as Endoscopy specialist, performing about 15,000 endoscopic examinations. At the same clinic, he treats as many as 520 patients with Celiac Disease.
He authored more than 200 scientific papers published in various scientific journals, including the Italian Journal of Gastroenterology, Gastroenterology and Hepatology Clinical Medicine, the British Journal of Medicine, etc.
Adjunct professor at the University of Rome, Tor Vergata, in the degree courses of Nursing Sciences, Dietetics, Exercise Science, and in the School of Specialization in General Surgery and Food Science.
He has been a regional delegate of the Italian Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition since 2006. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the AIC.
