Indipendent midwife and IBCLC lactation consultant in the Abruzzo region. Currently Lecturer in MED/47 contract in the Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery and in the Critical Area Master’s Degree at the G. D’Annunzio University in Chieti-Pescara and MED/47 for the Midwifery Bachelor’s Degree at the International University Unicamillus Roma. Collaborating as a lecturer/trainer for IBCLCs at ‘Formazione Allattamento’ and for Physical Education and Sport Doctors at ‘Training Lab Italia’.
Member of the scientific committee of the Professional Order of Midwives in Abruzzo.
Member of the board of directors of AICPAM (Italian Association of Professional Consultants in Maternal Breastfeeding).
Member of the scientific committee of SIRONG (Italian Society for Obstetric-Neonatal- Gynecological Research).

After graduating with honors in midwifery in 2010 from the G. D’Annunzio University in Chieti-Pescara, started working in London, first as a rotational midwife and then as a midwife coordinator and midwifery researcher at Imperial College London. Ended her career in London as a Midwife consultant for quality and care standards at the Royal College of Midwives, where she was responsible for drafting briefings, position statements, reviewing scientific papers, and national guidelines with the aim of influencing and improving the quality and safety of midwifery care.
She obtained her Master’s degree (Level 2) in Advanced Practices in Midwifery and Scientific Research Methodology at Kings College University (London) in 2019
Befotre that she became a Mentor and Tutor for midwifery students in 2014 obtaining a Postgraduate diploma in ‘Mentoring and Tutoring of Health Care Students’ at Middlesex University (London).
