Biography

Giovanni Battista Dell’Isola holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome La Sapienza, with a specialization in General and Specialist Pediatrics from the University of Perugia. He completed further training at the Meyer Pediatric Hospital in Florence, focusing his clinical and research activities on neurological disorders in pediatric patients.

His scientific research primarily focuses on the academic fields 06/MEDS-20. Specifically, he has developed a strong interest in pediatric epilepsy, with an emphasis on genetically driven forms, publishing studies in both national and international journals.

Since 2024, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in General and Specialist Pediatrics for the Single Cycle Master’s Degree Program in Medicine and Surgery at Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences. Prior to this role, from 2023 to 2024, he served as a subject-matter expert in the same program. He is a member of the Italian Society of Pediatrics.

He is Researcher at UniCamillus since October 2024.
