Checking self-certified qualifications

CHECKING SELF-CERTIFIED QUALIFICATIONS

In order to be able to check the truthfulness of self-certified qualifications, please note the following
  • As provided for in art. 48 of Decree Law no. 5/2012 (known as the Simplification Decree), in order to verify the truthfulness of self-certified qualifications, universities may access the national register of students referred to in art. 3 of Legislative Decree no. 76/2005.
  • Public administrations other than universities, managers of public services and companies or private bodies must send the request using one of the methods listed below, specifically to the Teaching Services Office that has managed the student’s career.

The person submitting the request must enclose:

  • a copy of the self-certification, duly signed by the person concerned;
  • a clear and complete description of the subject of the request;
  • full name, position and signature of the person making the request (in the case of companies or organisations of a private nature, a copy of the student's identity card must also be attached);
  • the name of the organisation and the name of the department making the request.

N.B. Only requests that are complete with the above information will be processed.
The request will be processed within 7 working days of receipt.

Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU (GDPR) Regulations 2016/679, we hereby inform you that your data will be processed by UniCamillus University, with registered office at Via di Sant’Alessandro, 8 00131 Rome +39 06 40 06 40 info@unicamillus.org unicamillus@pec.it as Data Controller, for the sole purpose of providing the information requested in accordance with the aforementioned legislation. The legal basis for the processing is that it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public authority conferred on the Data Controller.

The data will not be disclosed to third parties and will be kept only for the time necessary to process the request in all its stages. Every data subject shall have the right to request from the Data Controller access to, and rectification or erasure of, or restriction of the processing of personal data concerning them, or to object to its processing, by contacting the Data Controller at the above addresses or by contacting the Data Protection Officer, who may also be contacted at dpo@unicamillus.org.

A data subject who complains that their data has been unlawfully processed by the University has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority or with the ordinary courts.
