CPD SECOND-LEVEL COURSE
Academic year 2025-2026

This CPD course aims to provide high-quality training in clinical case management fundamentals to those who wish to develop in-depth knowledge of the various orthodontic strategies, from diagnosis to planning and implementation of a treatment plan.

Planned start date of the CPD course: 10-11 April 2026

Location of the CPD course: 

  • lectures at the Hotel Mondial Tirana
  • Internship and practical training at the GogaDent Dental Clinic, as well as at any other locations necessary and appropriate for practical activities, such as companies and laboratories. 

Language: English language

ECTS credits60 ECTS credits.

Duration
The CPD course has a duration of 12 months and provides a total workload of 1500 hours, structured as follows:

  • lectures and seminars;
  • practical activities;
  • internship 150 hours;
  • individual study and preparation, including the drafting of the final dissertation.

Attendance requirements

  • Attendance is compulsory for at least 80% of the total hours of the CPD course.
  • For lectures and seminars, a commitment of one weekend per month is required. 
  • Internship hours will be scheduled in agreement with the host institution.

Available places:
A minimum of 20 enrolled students is required for the course to start. Below this threshold, UniCamillus may unilaterally decide not to start the CPD course (with reimbursement of any tuition fees already paid).
The maximum number of available places is 50 students.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

The CPD course will mainly take place in person and is divided into eight modules.

The following online meetings have been planned to provide additional support for students:

  • Themed seminars led by guest speakers throughout the CPD course enrolment period;
  • A study club for discussing participants’ clinical cases.

ADMISSION AND SELECTION CRITERIA

To be admitted to the CPD course, candidates must hold at least one of the following degrees (or be about to obtain it by the closing date for enrolment):

  • an MSC in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, or a pre‑reform Degree in Medicine and Surgery with registration in the Medical Register and certification of the Specialization in Dentistry, or registration in the Register of Dentists pursuant to Article 5 of Law 409/85.

The following candidates may also apply: 

  • Candidates holding equivalent qualifications to those listed above, obtained under the previous university system;
  • Candidates holding an academic qualification obtained abroad, comparable in duration and content to those listed above.

The University reserves the right to admit candidates holding different qualifications, provided they are relevant to the programme of the CPD course.

PROCEDURES AND TERMS OF PRESENTATION OF THE APPLICATION

Applications must be submitted via the GOMP student portal, following the instructions provided in the GUIDE published on the University website, by 22nd March 2026.

In order to complete enrolment, candidates must prepare the following documentation, to be uploaded on the portal during the procedure:

  • curriculum vitae and academic record (European format, dated and signed);
  • copy of a valid identity document;
  • copy of the Degree Certificate;
  • any additional qualifications to be considered for admission;
  • declaration confirming that the applicant has read the Information Notice on the processing of personal data pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on “the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data” (hereinafter also ‘GDPR’), provided by UniCamillus;
  • copy of the tax identification code or health card (for Italian citizens and for foreign citizens who hold one);
  • for candidates holding equivalent qualifications: substitute declaration of certification pursuant to Article 46, point m of Presidential Decree 28/12/2000, no. 445, attesting the achievement of the qualification, in accordance with current legislation;

For candidates holding equivalent qualifications:

  • ‘Dichiarazione di Valore in Loco’ issued by the Italian Consular Authority in the country of study (accompanied by transcript of records and copy of the final diploma), or CIMEA Statement of Comparability accompanied by CIMEA Statement of Verification (accessible via the CIMEA platform), or
  • Diploma Supplement (in the case of a European qualification) issued by the home University and legalised by the Italian Embassy in the country of study. Candidates submitting incomplete documentation will be admitted conditionally and will not be able to finalise enrolment until all required documents have been provided.

Conditional enrolments will not be accepted in cases of incomplete documentation or incorrect transcription of data on the application form. 

Following admission, candidates must complete the enrolment procedure according to the instructions provided in the dedicated guide, which will be sent by email together with the notification of admission to the CPD course.

TUITION FEES

The tuition fee is €5,000.00 to be paid in two equal instalments:

  • First instalment: € 2,000.00+ € 50,00 by the deadline for enrolment, which will be communicated by UNICAMILLUS together with the notification of admission to the CPD course;
  • Second instalment: EUR 3,000.00 by 26th June 2026.

Failure to make payment within the deadlines indicated by UniCamillus in the admission communication will result in loss of the candidate’s place in the ranking list, and the list will be scrolled until all available places have been filled.

RIGHT TO RECONSIDER – Within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of payment, students may exercise the right to reconsider. As a consequence, students unilaterally waive from their enrolment by explicitly communicating to UniCamillus their willing to waive. This request should be sent by certified email to [email protected]

In case of exercising this right to reconsider, UniCamillus will proceed to refund the paid amount within the following 14 (fourteen) days – withholding an amount of 5% of the paid sum for secretarial services – using the same means of payment previously employed by the User, unless expressly indicating a different means of payment.
Except for mandatory cases, expressly stated in this announcement, no refund will be made under any circumstances.

RIGHT TO WAIVE STUDIES – By exercising the right of abandonment or waiver of studies, students will no longer have access to any educational activity and/or qualification to use the tools UniCamillus puts at their disposal. Students wishing to waive must submit a waiver application using an online procedure. They must access the student portal (GOMP) with their credentials, visiting the “ careers> applications> study waiver application” section.
In case of waiver, the amounts paid until the moment of presentation of the waiver request will not be reimbursed under any circumstances. Students who waive or abandon their studies after the beginning of classes are required to pay the whole amount of fees.

Activation of the Second Level Master Program is conditional on reaching a minimum number of 15 enrolments. In the event that the Second Level Master Program does not start due to failure to reach the minimum number, the University will refund the entire fee paid, without withholding anything by way of penalty.
