Antonio Maria Alberti
Already a founding member of the Complex Multipresidio Oncology Unit of ASL RM2, which includes inpatient wards, day-hospital services, and outpatient clinics.
At the ASL RM2 Medical Oncology Unit, he actively participated in prevention and treatment pathways for various types of cancer.
Multidisciplinary Contributions:
Participated in multidisciplinary boards with departments such as surgery, urology, pulmonology, and gynecology, supporting inpatient ward activities and guided patient discharge processes into integrated home care.
Coordinated the transfer of oncology patients from “Sandro Pertini” Hospital to home-residential hospices, focusing on improving the quality of care during dehospitalization, in close collaboration with the departmental unit for pain management and palliative care.
Leadership Roles and Advocacy:
From 2012 to 2020, served as President of ALTEG (Association for the Fight Against Tumors in Youth), founded by G. Ratti. The association aimed to enhance the quality of care for young cancer patients and to increase national and international awareness of cancer issues affecting this age group.
Legal and Consultancy Activities:
Works continuously as a Court-Appointed Technical Consultant, specializing in areas of prevention and professional accountability.
