Dr. Carlo Gaetano, born in 1961, is a distinguished physician-scientist and internationally recognized expert in epigenetics, cardiovascular regeneration, and translational medicine.
He currently serves as Director of the Laboratory of Epigenetics at Istituti Clinici Scientifici Maugeri IRCCS in Pavia, Italy.
He was an adjunct professor at the Harvey School of Medicine, University of Pavia. Currently, he is appointed as an Associate Professor of General Pathology at the International University of Health and Medical Sciences of Rome, UniCamillus.
With over three decades of research experience spanning prestigious institutions across Europe and North America, Dr. Gaetano represents one of Italy’s leading figures in cardiovascular epigenetics and regenerative medicine.
