Chiara Scirocco

Dr. Chiara Scirocco is a rheumatologist working at the Rheumatology Unit of San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital in Rome.

She studied Medicine at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome where she obtained her Medical Degree on 2011; she completed, in the same University, her residency rheumatologic training on july 2017.

Then, she began a fellowship in the Rheumatology Unit of San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital where she is currently involved in clinical practice (outpatient clinic, management of inpatients, ultrasound assessment of patients affected by various rheumatic diseases) and research activity. Particularly, she is working in the Lupus Clinic centered on the care of patients affected by sytemic lupus erythematosus and antiphospholipid syndrome and she is in charge of the early arthritis clinic.

She is a member of the Italian Society of Rheumatology (SIR) and she has been author and co-author of different scientific papers on rheumatic diseases.
