Diego Orsini
He earned his Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery with Honors in 2011 from the University of Rome “Sapienza.”
At the same university, he subsequently completed his specialization in Dermatology and Venereology with Honors in 2017, followed by a PhD in Oncology with Honors in 2022.
Since 2020, he has worked as a physician in the Department of Clinical Dermatology at the San Gallicano Dermatological Institute (IRCCS).
Beginning in 2025, he will take up the role of Associate Professor in the disciplinary sector MED/35 – Skin and Venereal Diseases at UniCamillus University.
His primary research interests focus on chronic inflammatory skin diseases, with a particular emphasis on pathogenic mechanisms and innovative therapeutic strategies.
Clinically, his outpatient practice encompasses the full spectrum of medical and surgical dermatology.
He is a member of the editorial boards of several national and international scientific journals indexed in EMBASE, PubMed/MEDLINE, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), and Scopus. In addition, he coordinates and actively participates in multiple national and international research groups.
He has also served as Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator in numerous clinical trials at both the national and international level.
He is an active member of several scientific societies, including the Italian Society of Medical, Surgical, Aesthetic Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (SIDeMaST), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and the Italian Hospital Dermatologists-Venereologists and Public Health Association (ADOI).
To date, he has authored more than 70 publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals and has been invited as speaker and moderator at numerous congresses, conferences, and scientific meetings.
