Diego Orsini
He graduated cum laude in Medicine and Surgery from Sapienza University of Rome in 2011.
At the same University, he subsequently completed his Specialization in Dermatology and Venereology, cum laude, in 2017, and obtained a PhD in Oncology, cum laude, in 2022.
From September 2020 to August 2025, he served as a Medical Consultant at the Clinical Dermatology Unit of the San Gallicano Dermatological Institute (IFO-IRCCS).
Since 2025, he has been Associate Professor in Dermatology and Venereology (MED/35) at UniCamillus – Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences, and he is Head of the Dermatology Section at the Italian Neurotraumatology Institute (I.N.I.).
He is also Director of the Residency Program in Dermatology and Venereology at UniCamillus University.
His main research interests include chronic inflammatory skin diseases, with particular emphasis on their etiopathogenetic mechanisms and novel therapeutic approaches.
His outpatient clinical practice covers the full spectrum of clinical and surgical dermatology.
He is a member of the Editorial Boards of national and international scientific journals indexed in EMBASE, PubMed/MEDLINE, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), and Scopus.
He coordinates and participates in several national and international research groups.
He is currently involved as Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator in several national and international clinical trials.
He is a member of several national and international scientific societies, including the Italian Society of Medical, Surgical and Aesthetic Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (SIDeMaST), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and the Italian Association of Hospital Dermatologists and Public Health Dermatologists (ADOI).
He is the author of more than 100 publications in national and international peer-reviewed scientific journals and has participated as an invited speaker and moderator in numerous scientific congresses, conferences, and meetings.
