Filippo Milano
Professor Milano obtained his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1985, graduating with a score of 110/110 with honors.
During the summer session of the 1989-90 academic year, he earned a specialization diploma in Legal Medicine and Insurance at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” with a score of 70/70 with honors.
On November 9, 2004, he obtained a specialization diploma in Psychiatry from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” with a score of 50/50.
On January 11, 1991, he won a public competition for the position of Technical Officer (Level VIII) at the Chair of Legal Medicine and Insurance at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata.”
Since September 1, 1995, he has held healthcare functions as a full-time Hospital Assistant. He is currently employed as a Level I Executive at the Forensic Medicine Hospital Service of ASL RM/C and is a member of the board for determining death in the Cadaveric Organ Procurement Service for therapeutic transplantation.
He is a member of the Italian Group of Forensic Anthropology and Odontology (GIAOF) and the Italian Group of Forensic Pathology (GIPF).
As part of the activities of the School of Specialization in Legal Medicine and Insurance, he has provided theoretical and practical forensic medical training to specialization students in civil, criminal, social security, and welfare matters.
Starting in 2024, he has been appointed Associate Professor of Legal Medicine (SSD MEDS-25/A) at UniCamillus.
He has supervised numerous specialization theses in Legal Medicine and Insurance.
