Dr. Giuseppe Attanasio is a medical doctor specialized in Otorhinolaryngology, with a degree from Sapienza University of Rome and postgraduate training at the University of Naples Federico II. He holds a Ph.D. in the Pathophysiology of Audio-Verbal Communication.
He teaches Anatomy and Physiology of the Auditory and Vestibular System in the Master’s programs in Clinical Vestibology, Pediatric Audiology, and Cochlear Implants at Sapienza University.
Until June 2025, he held the position of ENT Medical Director in the Head and Neck Department of Umberto I University Hospital in Rome.
He is President of Acufeni.net, a non-profit organization, and Coordinator of the Scientific Committee of the Meniere’s Disease Patients Association Foundation in Italy.
His research focuses on auditory and vestibular disorders and has been carried out at the Department of Sense Organs at Sapienza University and the Hearing Research Laboratory at the University of New York at Buffalo (USA).
