Prof. Manuel Scimeca, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Experimental Medicine (MED/26-A) at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata. He holds a PhD in Medical Biotechnology and Translational Medicine and an MSc in Medical Biotechnology. His research focuses on environmental pathology, investigating how toxic metals, asbestos fibers, and nanoparticles contribute to cancer and cardiovascular diseases through multi-omics and ultrastructural approaches.
