Marta Iacobucci
She is currently working as a Neuroradiologist at the Umberto I University Hospital in Rome, with a specific focus on the endovascular diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular and spinal disorders.
She serves as a lecturer in Neuroradiology for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Sapienza University of Rome.
She earned a PhD with honors in Clinical-Experimental Neuroscience and Psychiatry at the Department of Human Neurosciences of Sapienza University of Rome in 2023.
She gained significant international experience in Neuroradiology at the Brain Vascular Center of Bicêtre University Hospital, NEURI Center in Paris, under the mentorship of Prof. Jacques Moret and Prof. Laurent Spelle. During this time, she was actively involved in the organization of the LINNC Congresses (Live Interventional Neuroradiology & Neurosurgery Course).
Her research activity focuses on the optimization of diagnostic techniques through the use of advanced neuroimaging tools and artificial intelligence, as well as on the development of innovative endovascular treatment approaches, with the overarching goal of improving clinical outcomes in patients with cerebrovascular diseases.
She is a member of several editorial boards and national and international scientific societies in the field of neuroscience.
In 2023 she obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in the disciplinary sector 06/MEDS-22.
