Maurizio Mennini
Specialist in Pediatrics with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric allergic and gastrointestinal disorders.
He obtained his Degree in Medicine, a Specialization in Pediatrics, and a PhD in “Biomedical Technologies in Clinical Medicine” with honors from Sapienza University of Rome.
He worked for over six years at the Allergy Unit of the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital, gaining extensive clinical and research experience in allergic diseases and food-related disorders. He also served as a Visiting Researcher at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (USA), where he participated in research activities focusing on the role of the microbiota in allergic diseases.
His training is further enriched by a Level II Master’s Degree in “Advanced Pediatric Allergy and Immunology” from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and a postgraduate university course in Pediatric Gastroenterology from the University of Naples Federico II.
He is the author of more than 90 publications in international scientific journals.He is an active member of national and international scientific societies and has received prestigious awards for his research activity in the fields of pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.
He currently holds the position of consultant at the Pediatric Unit of the Sant’Andrea University Hospital in Rome and serves as Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at UniCamillus – International Medical University in Rome.
