Piero Cascone

Prof. Piero Cascone is a medical doctor and former Full Professor of Maxillofacial Surgery at the International Medical University of Rome “Unicamillus”. He was previously Associate Professor of Maxillofacial Surgery at Sapienza University of Rome. With over 40 years of clinical experience, from 1981 to the present, he has performed more than 5,000 surgical procedures. From 2005 to 2022, he served as Director of the Complex Operative Unit (U.O.C.) of Maxillofacial Surgery at the Policlinico Umberto I Hospital in Rome.

His clinical and research activity encompasses all aspects of Maxillofacial Surgery, with particular focus on the most complex conditions involving temporomandibular joint disorders and congenital cranio-maxillofacial malformations or those resulting from trauma.
