Pietro Romano
He graduated cum laude in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Messina in 2017 and obtained his Specialization in General Practice through the Sicilian Regional Program in 2022. In 2023, he achieved qualification for the role of Territorial Emergency Physician at the ASP of Reggio Calabria, further integrating his academic pathway with a Second-Level University Master’s Degree in “Musculoskeletal Pain Therapy and Spasticity in Rehabilitation”.
Author of several international scientific publications, he currently carries out clinical and research activities at the A.O.U. G. Martino University Hospital of Messina, with particular focus in the field of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, with specific reference to the management of chronic pain and the use of minimally invasive techniques.
He has obtained fellowships and carried out collaborative activities at several institutions and research centers, including the Tor Vergata University Hospital of Rome, the IRCCS Bonino Pulejo Neurolesi Center of Messina, and the I.O.M.I. “Franco Scalabrino” Institute of Messina.
He is currently Professor of Human Physiology in the MSc Degree Program in Medicine and Surgery at the Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences – UniCamillus, Cefalù Campus.
