Valentina Vanzi

Valentina Vanzi holds a Bachelor’s degree in both Pediatric Nursing (2010) and Nursing (2017), a Master’s in Nursing Science (2022), a postgraduate course in Wound Care (2011), a Clinical Nurse Leader certificate (2013), and is currently a third-year student in the Doctoral Program in Nursing Sciences and Public Health at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

She has worked as a clinical nurse for nearly 15 years in the University Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Emergency, Acceptance, and General Pediatrics at the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital.

Currently, she is a research fellow at the Interdepartmental Center for Research and Training (CIFAPPS) at the University of Tor Vergata. She is a member of the Clinical Practice Pillar of the Centre of Excellence for Nursing Scholarship of OPI Rome (Board of Nursing of Rome) and serves as a deputy of the JBI Centre of Excellence in Rome (Italian Evidence-Based Practice Nursing Scholarship Group).

In parallel with her clinical experience, Valentina Vanzi is involved in academic activities as an adjunct professor in Research Methodology and Evidence-Based Nursing, Nursing Care in NICU and PICU, and Pediatric Wound Care at several Italian universities, including Sapienza University, Tor Vergata University, UniCamillus International Medical University and University od Padova. She is a reviewer for several international scientific journals and has been the (co-)author of numerous publications, journal articles, and book chapters in the fields of pediatric nursing, evidence-based nursing, and wound care, in both national and international journals.
