His Holiness Pope Leo XIV has appointed Professor Massimo Ralli as Under-Secretary of the Dicastery for the Service of Charity, headed by His Excellency the Prefect, Archbishop Luis Marín de San Martín, as reported by the Agensir news agency.
Professor Ralli, a faculty member in Otorhinolaryngology at UniCamillus University and an official of the same Dicastery, will assume his new role on 1 September 2026.
On the same occasion, the Holy Father also appointed Archbishop Lucio Adrián Ruiz, until now Secretary of the Dicastery for Communication, as Secretary of the Dicastery for the Service of Charity.
