Studying Physiotherapy at UniCamillus: a strategic choice
The role of the physiotherapist in Italy is well-established and growing: there are an estimated 70,000 practising physiotherapists in the country, with a significant proportion under the age of 40, indicating an ongoing generational shift. Furthermore, according to official estimates, there are approximately 118 physiotherapists per 100,000 inhabitants across Italy, a figure that places Italy in line with the European average for the sector.
The profession operates within a social context in which functional limitations and mobility difficulties affect a significant proportion of the population. According to recent ISTAT data, millions of people report difficulties with daily activities due to health or functional issues, a clear indicator of the constant demand for rehabilitation services in the country.
Precisely because of this growing demand, studying Physiotherapy is a strategic choice, and doing so at UniCamillus means embarking on a comprehensive and stimulating programme that combines academic excellence, practical training and an international outlook, producing professionals who are ready to meet the needs of the job market and seize opportunities both within the national healthcare system and internationally.
