UniCamillus University, a medical university with campuses in Rome, Lido di Venezia, and Cefalù, has announced some exciting news for the 2025–2026 academic year, reaffirming its leading role in medical and healthcare education both in Italy and internationally.
The MSc in Medicine and Surgery is now also offered in Italian at the Rome campus
This programme was the first to be accredited at UniCamillus when the University was founded in 2018. Until the last academic year, UniCamillus offered an MSc in Medicine in English at its Rome campus, and in Italian at its Lido di Venezia and Cefalù campuses. However, starting from the 2025–2026 academic year, a significant change will take place: the University expands its programmes by launching an MSc in Medicine and Surgery taught in Italian at the Rome campus. This important development will allow UniCamillus to welcome even more Italian students, while continuing to attract international applicants thanks to its well-established English-language MSc in Medicine programme. UniCamillus remains a standout multicultural hub, with a proportion of international students twice the national average, according to the latest AlmaLaurea data, and a strong presence of young people from across Italy.
A dental clinic open to the public: the new frontier of medical education
UniCamillus has reopened enrolment for its MSc in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, taught in Italian at its Rome campus, for the 2025–2026 academic year. Starting this academic year, there is exciting news for both students and the wider community: in 2026, the University will inaugurate a new Dental Clinic dedicated to the treatment, study and research of odontostomatological diseases.
Located on the first floor of the UniHall building, where MSc Dentistry lectures are already held, the clinic will mark a turning point in practical training. Students will take part in clinical activities as trainees, seamlessly integrating theory and hands-on practice within the same campus.
Authorised by the Regione Lazio, the facility will be open to the public and will offer dental services across all specialist areas for both adult and paediatric patients. Treatments will be provided by tutors and renowned professionals from Italy and abroad, ensuring high-quality, cutting-edge clinical care.
This initiative further reinforces UniCamillus’ commitment to delivering professionally focused education, built on real-world experience and an integrated model that prioritises direct engagement with clinical practice from the very beginning of the programme.
A network of internship opportunities and campuses across Italy
Practical training is a fundamental cornerstone at UniCamillus—not only in dentistry but across all disciplines. Medical and surgical students benefit from an extensive network of highly qualified affiliated healthcare facilities, where they can undertake professionally focused internships as part of their degree programme. The campuses in Rome, Lido di Venezia, and Cefalù ensure nationwide coverage, making it easier for students to access their chosen programme while also remaining close to their learning environment.
Top national rankings in success rates, international orientation, and student satisfaction
The latest AlmaLaurea data confirms UniCamillus’ winning model: 95.2% of graduates report satisfaction with their academic experience, and the graduation rate stands at 89.5%—well above the national average. Within one year of graduation, 84.3% of alumni are employed, earning an average salary that exceeds the national benchmark. UniCamillus also stands out for its strong international orientation: the percentage of international students is twice the Italian average, and 64.8% of students come from regions outside the university’s location, confirming its national and global appeal. These results reflect the University’s commitment to high-quality teaching, its student-centered approach, and its ability to produce well-prepared, motivated professionals ready to meet the demands of the healthcare sector. To register for the admission tests for the MSc in Medicine and Surgery (taught in English and Italian) and the MSc in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics (taught in Italian), please consult the calls for applications at this link: https://unicamillus.org/en/services/admission-calls/
