Pope Leone XIV has appointed Professor Massimo Ralli as Undersecretary of the Dicastery for the Service of Charity, headed by His Excellency the Prefect, Archbishop Luis Marín de San Martín, according to the Agensir news agency.
Professor Ralli, who is Professor of Otolaryngology at UniCamillus University and currently serves as an official of the same Dicastery, will assume his new role on 1 September 2026.
On the same occasion, the Holy Father also appointed Archbishop Lucio Adrián Ruiz, until now Secretary of the Dicastery for Communication, as Secretary of the Dicastery for the Service of Charity.
