Currently Chairman of Autostrade dello Stato and Smart Clinic S.p.A., Cozzoli is also a university lecturer and a leading figure in public policy.

The business and finance sector is represented by Maria Bianca Farina, a leading figure in the insurance world and former President of Poste Italiane. An important clinical and organisational contribution is made by Dr. Giuseppe Feltrin, cardiac surgeon, Director General of the Italian National Transplant Centre, a leading figure in promoting the culture of donation in Italy and Europe, where he also works through the European Donation and Transplant Coordination Organisation (EDTCO).

The Advisory Board also includes high-profile institutional figures such as Luciana Lamorgese, former Minister of the Interior and current State Councillor. A lawyer and Prefect, she has held several top public administration posts and is known for her balance, authority and in-depth knowledge of social and local contexts.

Gianni Letta, journalist, politician and Undersecretary of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in several governments, is now active in scientific and cultural committees of international importance. His extraordinary contribution will give a high strategic profile to the University’s projects in the coming years.

Tiziano Onesti, Professor of Economics at the University of Roma Tre and manager with extensive experience on the Boards of Directors of leading Italian companies, including Ferrovie dello Stato and ENI, completes the group. He is currently President of the Bambino Gesù Foundation and Children’s Hospital, and of the Generale Costruzioni Ferroviarie (GCF) Group.

The members of the Advisory Board, appointed by the Board of Directors on the proposal of the Rector, will serve for a renewable term of three years. The Board will play a strategic role in guiding the University in relation to the major changes taking place in the scientific, social and economic spheres, contributing its expertise, vision and sensitivity.

“We are delighted to welcome our new Advisory Board”, said UniCamillus Rector Gianni Profita. “The participation of outstanding personalities in the fields of medicine, research, business and culture represents an extraordinary opportunity for our University. Thanks to their contribution, we will be able to face the challenges of our time with greater strength, promoting innovation, inclusiveness and openness to the future. The dialogue with these outstanding personalities will be a source of inspiration for us, as well as a tangible guide to our growth as a reference university in the international panorama of medical education”.

With the creation of an Advisory Board, UniCamillus is strengthening its commitment to science and health, combining a solid scientific mission with a clear international vocation and a strong focus on the needs of contemporary society. An ever-expanding university, looking to the future, but firmly rooted in the human and humanitarian values of knowledge.
