National Council of University Students (CNSU)

With Ministerial Decree No. 42 of January 30, 2025, elections have been called for the renewal of the National Council of University Students (CNSU).

On 14th and 15th May 2025, the following members will be elected:

a) 28 representatives elected from among students enrolled in the 2024–2025 academic year in bachelor’s degree programs, MSc degree programs, single-cycle master’s degree programs, or degree programs under previous regulations, in accordance with current legislation;

b) 1 representative elected from among students enrolled in specialization courses under both the old and new systems, as specified in Article 4, paragraph 1, of Law No. 341 of November 19, 1990, and Article 3 of Ministerial Decree No. 270 of October 22, 2004;

c) 1 representative elected from among students enrolled in PhD programs under both the old and new systems, as specified in Article 4 of Law No. 210 of July 3, 1998, and Article 3 of Ministerial Decree No. 226 of December 14, 2021.

The electoral process will take place as follows:
• Wednesday, 14th May 2025, from 9am to 7am;
• Thursday, 15th May 2025, from 9am to 2pm.

Voting will take place at the following locations:

Rome Campus (District III) – Polling Station No. 1
Library – UniHall, Ground Floor – UniCamillus University, Via di Sant’Alessandro 8–26

Lido di Venezia Campus (District I) – Polling Station No. 2
Student Services Office, Ground Floor – Via Alberoni 70, 30126 Lido (VE)

Cefalù Campus (District IV) – Polling Station No. 3
Administrative Office, Ground Floor – Contrada Pietra Pollastra, 90015 Cefalù (PA)

Ministerial Decree No. 42 of 30th January 2025, along with the relevant documentation on the electoral procedure, can be consulted on the website of the Ministry of University and Research at the following link:

It is hereby communicated that the Ministry of University and Research (MUR), in its note no. 3287 of 21.03.2025, has specified the following:
“In light of the provisions set forth in Article 2, paragraph 5, of the Electoral Ordinance, it is clarified that students enrolled in degree programmes offered at university campuses located in an electoral district different from that of the central headquarters of their home university must cast their vote for candidates in the district where these decentralised campuses are territorially situated.
Furthermore, pursuant to Article 3, paragraph 3, of the Ordinance, the number of universities in each district where the collection of signatures in support of candidacies is required must be redefined, also taking into account the aforementioned decentralised university campuses that may be present in the district but belong to institutions whose central headquarters are located in a different electoral district.”
THEREFORE, THE SIGNATURE COLLECTION MUST BE CARRIED OUT IN 11 UNIVERSITIES OF THE THIRD DISTRICT.

The stamp on the forms (ATTACHMENT 1.A) can only be placed by the University after the signatures have been collected. Therefore, list delegates are invited to schedule an appointment with the Electoral Office in advance by sending an email to elezioni.studenti@unicamillus.org.
