Interview with Professor Maria Rosaria Capobianchi, biology teacher at UniCamillus, by Corriere della Sera

“I was one of the first to get the Covid vaccine last year. What makes me sore is how some people refuse it today”, so begins Maria Rosaria Capobianchi, Adjunct Professor of molecular biology in the degree course of Medicine and Surgery at UniCamillus. Moreover, Professor Capobianchi, was already the Director of the Virology Laboratory of Istituto Nazionale delle Malattie Infettive at Spallanzani when Sars-Cov2 was isolated under her supervision for the first time in Italy in March 2022. She adds: “Unfortunately, the ride is not over, the virus changes, keeps reproducing, that’s why I don’t understand those who insist on not getting vaccinated even today”.
