Moreover, Professor Capobianchi, was already the Director of the Virology Laboratory of Istituto Nazionale delle Malattie Infettive at Spallanzani when Sars-Cov2 was isolated under her supervision for the first time in Italy in March 2022. She adds: “Unfortunately, the ride is not over, the virus changes, keeps reproducing, that’s why I don’t understand those who insist on not getting vaccinated even today”.
