SECOND LEVEL MASTER PROGRAM (Continuing
Professional Development)

This program lasts one academic year, during which students will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The Master Program (CPD Course) has a theoretical-practical approach aimed at providing learning about the problems of surgical extraction and the subsequent phases of implant-prosthetic rehabilitation. Students will be involved in modern implantology, from diagnosis to prosthetic rehabilitation, and will have the opportunity to meet the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

The teaching, directed by the Istituto Stomatologico Toscano and Gangnam International Implant Academy (GIIA) , Korea, aims at providing basic theoretical and methodological knowledge by conveying lectures and practical laboratory activities.

The Master Program (CPD Course) main partner is Istituto Stomatologico Toscano, directed by Prof. Ugo Covani.

Planned Lessons Start Date: April 2025

Location: Theoretical-practical lessons will be held online and at “Istituto Stomatologico Toscano” (IST), Lido di Camaiore, Italy, and “UniCamillus International Medical University”, Rome, Italy.

Language: English

Credits: 60 C.F.U.

Duration: The Master Program (CPD Course) lasts 12 months and includes a total time of 1.500 hours, divided into:

  • practical activity, frontal and live streaming lessons and a facultative course with GIIA 1
  • internship (150 hours).
  • study and individual preparation activities including the preparation of the final exam: writing a thesis and doing a project work

Attendance Mode:

The attendance is mandatory for at least the 80% of the total hours of the Master Program (CPD Course) .The didactic calendar may be subject to change in relation to national and international scientific calendars and the availability of teaching staff.

Upon activation of the Master Program (CPD Course) (after the deadline for enrolment) the final schedule will be sent out.

Any changes will be communicated by email.

Places Available:

A minimum number of 12 enrolment is requested to activate the Master Program (CPD Course). Below the threshold of 12 enrolments, UniCamillus can unilaterally decide not to activate the Master Program (CPD Course) (with return of any already paid participant fees). The maximum number of students is 30.
