Dr. Agnes is a Medical Director at Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli in the Department of General Surgery.

Her main clinical activity is in the field of general and oncologic gastrointestinal surgery, especially colorectal and gastric pathology. Relevant training has been developed over the years of residency and through numerous educational experiences abroad and in-depth courses. Most procedures are performed through laparoscopic or robotic surgery.

Her main research areas of interest are gastric and colorectal carcinoma in terms of biological behavior, treatment and prognosis, and the creation of predictive models for the improvement of the diagnostic-therapeutic pathway of these diseases.

In 2023, Dr. Agnes obtained a PhD in Oncological Sciences from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

In 2022, she obtained the national scientific qualification “Professore di II fascia” in the 06/C-MED18 area.
