Biography

Psychologist and Psychotherapist enrolled in the Register of Psychologists of Lazio.

Graduated in Psychology with a focus on “Cognitive Neurosciences and Psychological Rehabilitation” from the University of Rome “Sapienza.”

She earned her Ph.D. in “Psychology and Cognitive Science” at the Department of Psychology of the University of Rome “Sapienza,” with a thesis titled “Modulation of Levels of Sleepiness and Vigilance through Transcranial Electrical Stimulation.”

Subsequently, she conducted research at the “Sleep Psychophysiology Laboratory,” directed by Prof. Luigi De Gennaro.

Her main research areas have focused on studying electroencephalographic sleep patterns under normal and pathological conditions, as well as exploring the effects of daytime sleepiness on attentional and cognitive performance in different populations and work/school contexts.

She is the author of numerous publications in high-impact international scientific journals and has conducted studies in collaboration with various research groups.

She has obtained the National Scientific Qualification for the role of Associate Professor in the competitive sectors 11/PSIC-01: General Psychology, Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neurosciences, Psychometrics, and 11/PSIC-04: Clinical Psychology and Dynamic Psychology.

Currently, she works as a self-employed Psychologist and Psychotherapist and is involved in writing scientific articles on the relationship between sleep, vigilance, and performance.

Associate Professor at UniCamillus University since October 2024.
