Biography

Doctor of Pharmacy, graduated at University of Camerino with honors and licensed to practice as a

Pharmacist and as a Chemist.

After gaining several years of professional experience as a pharmacist, she completed a postgraduate 2nd level master’s degree in “Clinical Research: methodology, pharmacovigilance, legal and regulatory aspects” and then she began her Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology residency at Sapienza University of Rome.

She was awarded a research fellowship at IRCCS National Institute for Infectious Diseases “Lazzaro Spallanzani” where she carried out clinical and epidemiological research in the field of emerging and re- emerging infections. She coordinated several pharmacological clinical trials and observational studies, caring of both scientific and ethical-regulatory aspects.

She currently holds the position of health care researcher at IRCCS National Institute of Health and Science of Aging, where she is focused on research on aging and polypharmacotherapy in the older patient.

She is author of several scientific papers published in indexed journals.

She is a member of the board of the Association of Researchers in Health Care – Italy and a member of the

Italian Society of Hospital Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Services of Health Authorities.
