Elena Bozzola is a paediatric consultant in the Paediatric Unit, at Bambino Gesù Children Hospital, Rome. Following her initial training at the University of Pavia, she completed her master in paediatrics and an observership at the Miami Children’s Hospital Infectious Disease Unit, USA. She obtained the National Scientific Habilitation for position of Associate Professor SSD MED38 in June 2023.

In addition to her role as a paediatrician, Elena Bozzola is also a board member of the Italian Society of Paediatrics (from 2016) and has been a member of the Italian National Immunisation Technical Advisory Group (from 2017 to 2022). She experienced national and international collaborations with Ministry of Health and Education, Postal and Communications Police, ENPAM, AGENAS, AIFA, Scientific Societies, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Miami-USA, National and International Advisory Boards and collaboration with international experts. She is the author or co-author of more than 100 publications and serves as associate/ guest editor for several scientific journals on paediatrics.
