Biography

Specialist in Food Science at the Faculty of Medicine of the Polytechnic University of Marche  (UNIVPM) and in Food Chemistry and Technology at the University of Bologna (UNIBO). 

He graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of Bologna with an experimental thesis at  the Université Paris VII (Denis Diderot-FR). He has carried out research activities in Food  Microbiology, Nutrition, and Computational Sciences (Biostatistics) at institutions and companies. 

He is an adjunct professor at the Saint Camillus International Medical University (Unicamillus) and  the “San Raffaele” University of Rome for the Master’s Degree Courses in Human Nutrition  Sciences. As a contract professor, he teaches in the 2nd level Master’s in Nutrition, Nutraceuticals,  and Applied Dietetics at the University of Camerino (UNICAM, School of Biosciences) and the 2nd level Master’s in Official Food Control and Food Safety at the University of Foggia (CUASA,  Department of Agricultural Sciences, Food, Natural Resources, and Engineering). 

Since 2011, he has been a tutor and co-author of the first International Online Master’s in Vegetarian Nutrition and Dietetics at the Iberoamerican University Foundation and the Polytechnic University  of Marche (FUNIBER-UNIVPM). 

As a specialist biologist, he deals with dietetics and clinical nutrition at a research center for the  early diagnosis of neoplastic diseases. Since 2024, he has been a full member of the State Exam  Commission for the qualification of Junior and Senior Biologists. 

In the corporate field, he earned a Master’s in Guidance and Coaching (post-graduate level), with  consultancy activities in food marketing and human resources management (HR). At PMI (Project  Management Institute), he obtained the international certification (post-graduate level) in project  management CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management). He is currently the development  director of biomedical software for research and healthcare professions. 

An author, science communicator, and speaker at various national and international conferences, he  has published numerous articles in national journals and newspapers. He has appeared in several  radio and television programs, as well as online platforms (including “Porta a Porta” on Rai 1,  “Programmi dell’accesso” on Rai 3, Nutrizione33).
