Biography

She obtained a degree in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostic Techniques (University of Rome “La Sapienza”) and a post-graduate specialization in “Health Professional Management Biomedical Laboratory Technician
and Medical Radiology Technician for Coordination functions”.
She works in the development of diagnostic protocols for the leukemia patients characterization and to assess the MRD (Minimal Residual Disease) in several oncohematological diseases.
She is involved in international network to improve the standardization of genetic assays in order to provide a more accurate risk stratification.
She also works in the management and coordination of technical personnel of the Onco-hematology Integrated Diagnostic Laboratory of “Tor Vergata” Hospital.
During her research activity, she has done teaching and tutoring for students of Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostic Techniques.
Finally, she is an author of many scientific articles published in a peer-reviewed journal.
