Fabio D'Agostino

Biography

He is a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree from Sapienza University of Rome. In 2014, he received a PhD in Nursing Science from Tor Vergata University of Rome. Subsequently, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Biomedicine and Prevention, Tor Vergata University of Rome.

He is currently an Associate Professor of Nursing at the Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences and is habilitated for the position of Full Professor.

So far, he has published more than 70 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals.

His research mainly focuses on digitalization in healthcare and self-care in heart failure. He is the author of a software program called PAI, which is used in clinical settings to document nursing care. His research has been funded by the European Union, the Italian Center of Excellence for Nursing Scholarship, and the Association for Common European Nursing Diagnoses, Interventions, and Outcomes (ACENDIO).
