Specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, he completed his training in Italy and abroad with a PhD in neuro-psychoendocrinology of reproduction and human sexuality.

Executive Committee European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health Care Counsellor of the Italian Contraception Society since 2004.

Member of the Italian Society of Childhood Gynecology of adolescence (SIGIA) since 2014.

Member of the Italian Menopause Society since 2015.

Dr. Farris, since before graduation, has always been interested in endocrinological gynecology, collaborating with the Special Service of Gynecological Endocrinology e Family Planning of the Institute of Obstetric and Gynecological Clinic, Policlinico Umberto I, in collaboration with Prof. Carlo Bastianelli.

After graduation, she moved to London, she dealt with both diagnostics and clinic of infertility and gynecological endocrine pathologies at the Center of Reproductive Endocrinology, directed by Prof. S. Franks, at St. Mary’s Hospital and Medical School and Samaritan Hospital for Women.

During her specialization course, Dr. Farris attended the outpatient clinic in Gynecology of Childhood and Adolescence, directed by Prof. Vincenzina Bruni, at the Careggi University Hospital in Florence, collaborating in the clinical activity e scientific and obtaining the Fellowship of the International Society of Pediatric and
Adolescent Gynaecology (IFEPAG).

In the periods of attendance at the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Rome, London and of Florence, has gained particular experience in the field of gynecological endocrinology, of obstetric-gynecological ultrasound diagnostics, family planning and gynecology of childhood and adolescence, with particular attention to family planning, especially in adolescents, achieving a thorough knowledge of all contraceptive methods, publishing more than 100 scientific articles and participating in several national congresses and international as a speaker on these issues.
