Dr. Caterina Gruosso has a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences of Health
Professions with a final grade of 110/110 with honors at the University of the Rome Tor
Vergata and previously a Degree in Physiotherapy, with final grade of 110/110 cum laude
at the University of Rome La Sapienza.
The significant professional clinical training, which took place at the IRCCS Istituto Santa
Lucia in Rome – highly specialized hospital for neurological rehabilitation – for over 15
years, has allowed her to acquire specific expertise in the field of rehabilitation of patients
with neurological, chronic-degenerative diseases and polytraumatized patients.
She is professor of “Integrated Rehabilitation Sciences” MED/48, at the University of
Rome Tor Vergata, in the Master degree in Rehabilitation Sciences of the Health
Professions and at three-year Degree course in Physiotherapy at the Catholic University of
Our Lady of Good Counsel, she is professor of “Rehabilitation Methodology”MED/48.
She is a lecturer in training courses for physiotherapists and other health professionals.
Currently she carries out her work as freelance. She is a member of the SIUD scientific
society, the Italian Society of Urodynamics and pelvic floor, and has been a speaker at the
last 2020 National Congress; as member of the Interprofessional Team commission she
has collaborated in the drafting of the volume “Urodynamics, Neurourology and Pelvic
Floor Dysfunction” ed. Springer.
