Maria Rosaria Gualano is Associate Professor of Public Health since 2018. She graduated in Medicine at “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – Facoltà Agostino Gemelli” and specialized in Hygiene and Public Health at the same University.
Since 2018, suitable as Full Professor of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine (Italian National Scientific Qualification).
Since 2015, Vice-President Italian Society of leadership and Management in Medicine (SIMM). Currently member of the Governance Board, Centre for Global Health and member of the Governance Board, Centre for Leadership in Medicine, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – Rome. Member of the Faculty of PhD “Health Service & Systems Research”, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Member of the Governance Board of the Leadership in Public Health group of the Italian Society of hygiene and preventive medicine (SItI). Past Consultant at Agenas (Italian National Agency for Health Services Research for projects on Health Impact Assessment). Her main research activities are related to the following areas: Public Mental Health, Preventive Medicine, Health Promotion (using e-health and digital health), Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Clinical Epidemiology.
