Biography

Prof. Arnaldo Ippoliti was born in Rome on June 25, 1954.

Specialist in Vascular Surgery, General Surgery and Emergency and First Aid Surgery.

Full Professor of Vascular Surgery at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, he is Director of the Chair and School of Specialization in Vascular Surgery.

He holds teaching positions in Vascular Surgery at the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and at the University “Nostra Signora del Buon Consiglio” in Tirana, at the Specialization Schools of Cardiac Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopedics and the University Diploma Course in Podiatry and Physiotherapy at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and in Physiotherapy at the University “Nostra Signora del Buon Consiglio” in Tirana.

He holds the position of Director of the UOC of Vascular Surgery and Director of the DAI of Surgical Sciences, in addition, he also holds the position of Acting Director of the DAI Oncohematology of the University Hospital Policlinico Tor Vergata in Rome.

Founding member of the Italian Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (S.I.C.V.E.), he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (S.I.C.V.E.) for 2009-2010.

Former vice director of the Board of Directors of the College of Full Professors of Vascular Surgery from 2016 to 2019.

Member of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (E.S.V.S.), of the International Society for Cardiovascular Surgery, of the Italian Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (S.I.C.V.E.).

He is the author of over 300 publications in national and international scientific journals. He carries out research on the main topics of Vascular Surgery and in particular on carotid artery surgery, aortic surgery and lower limb arteriopathies.
